Baton Rouge, Louisiana — Raising Cane’s is continuing its rapid expansion across the United States by opening seven new restaurant locations this August, while also reopening several remodeled stores as the popular chicken finger chain celebrates its 30th anniversary.
The latest expansion introduces the brand to two new markets — eastern North Carolina and southeastern Georgia — as the company continues growing its national footprint.
Raising Cane’s Celebrates 30 Years With New Restaurants
Founded in 1996 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Raising Cane’s has grown from a single restaurant into nearly 1,000 locations across 44 states.
In a statement announcing the August expansion, the company said the milestone reflects both its history and its plans for continued growth.
“August is a meaningful month for Raising Cane’s as we celebrate our 30th birthday and reflect on how far we’ve come since opening our first Restaurant in 1996,” the company said.
The chain added that each new opening represents its continued commitment to serving more communities across the country, including first-time customers in several new markets.
Here Are the Seven New Raising Cane’s Locations Opening in August
Customers can expect the following restaurant openings throughout the month:
- August 3: Novi, Michigan – 26245 Novi Road
- August 3: Rocky Mount, North Carolina – 1010 N. Wesleyan Blvd. (First location in eastern North Carolina)
- August 10: Thousand Oaks, California – 400 N. Moorpark Road
- August 17: Fontana, California – 16940 Slover Ave.
- August 17: Linden, New Jersey – 801 W. Edgar Road
- August 24: Tuscaloosa, Alabama – 1241 McFarland Blvd. E.
- August 24: Statesboro, Georgia – 24087 US-80 (First location in southeastern Georgia)
The expansion continues the company’s steady rollout of new restaurants across multiple regions.
Four Remodeled Restaurants Will Also Reopen
Along with the new openings, Raising Cane’s is welcoming customers back to four renovated locations that recently underwent remodeling.
The reopening schedule includes:
- College Station, Texas – August 12
- Lexington, Kentucky – August 17
- Las Vegas, Nevada – August 17
- Gahanna, Ohio – August 24
The remodeled restaurants are part of the company’s broader investment in upgrading existing locations while expanding into new communities.
Recent Growth Continues Across the Country
The August announcement follows another busy month for Raising Cane’s.
In July, the company opened new restaurants in Johnson City, Tennessee; Jacksonville, North Carolina; Albany, Georgia; Schererville, Indiana; and Los Angeles, California.
It also reopened remodeled restaurants in Edmond, Oklahoma; Fort Collins, Colorado; and Las Vegas, Nevada.
The steady pace of openings highlights the chain’s continued national growth strategy.
