Houston, Texas — A Houston man is facing criminal charges after authorities say he filmed himself targeting homeless and disabled individuals with a high-powered motorized water gun, posting the disturbing encounters online as part of a social media stunt that quickly gained widespread attention.
According to the Houston Police Department, 34-year-old Christopher Cayce allegedly carried out multiple incidents in Midtown Houston and along Bissonnet Street, where unsuspecting victims were sprayed with the powerful water gun while walking, waiting at bus stops or even sleeping.
The videos, which were later shared on social media, sparked outrage after they showed vulnerable individuals being harassed for online entertainment.
Police Say Homeless and Disabled People Were Targeted
Investigators said Cayce intentionally sought out people who appeared to be homeless or living with disabilities before spraying them with the motorized water gun.
The Houston Police Department said officers from the Major Offenders Division and the Westside Crime Suppression Team investigated multiple reports involving victims who had been struck by the device.
Authorities ultimately charged Cayce with two counts of assault causing bodily injury in connection with the incidents.
In a statement, police said:
“HPD Major Offenders & Westside Crime Suppression Team investigated multiple cases of disabled & homeless persons who had been shot with a high-powered, motorized water gun.”
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives review additional evidence related to the incidents.
Viral Videos Drew Hundreds of Thousands of Views
The videos were reportedly posted on a Facebook page called Tut Tut Kingdom, which has nearly 50,000 followers.
Several clips showed unsuspecting people being sprayed without warning while going about their day. Some victims were filmed sitting at bus stops, while others appeared to be sleeping on sidewalks.
One of the most widely shared videos allegedly showed Cayce spraying a sleeping homeless man before shouting:
“Wake up your motherf—king ass.”
The suspect then laughed before driving away, according to the footage.

Several of the videos have since accumulated more than 200,000 views, drawing widespread criticism from viewers who condemned the behavior.
Authorities Identified Suspect Through Social Media
Police confirmed that Cayce was the individual seen in the viral videos and believe additional incidents may have occurred beyond the cases already investigated.
Authorities continue reviewing footage and information to determine whether more victims were targeted.
