Water Mill, New York — A promising 29-year-old New York City commercial real estate broker was killed during a morning jog in the Hamptons after being struck by a vehicle, leaving colleagues and members of the real estate community mourning the sudden loss of a rising professional whose career had quickly gained momentum.
Rising Real Estate Broker Dies in Morning Crash
According to the Southampton Police Department, Stefanie Rock was jogging in Water Mill shortly after 9 a.m. Friday when she was struck by a Toyota.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Rock was pronounced dead at the location due to her injuries.
Police said the driver remained at the scene and fully cooperated with investigators. The driver, whose identity has not been released, was transported to Southampton Hospital for evaluation before later being released.

Among the notable deals she helped broker was the representation of beauty technology startup GlossGenius in securing a full-floor lease at 838 Broadway, a property owned by ZG Capital Partners.
