Twin Falls, Idaho — An emotional statement from In-N-Out President Lynsi Snyder has put a human face on the devastating shooting that claimed the lives of an employee and customers at one of the company’s newest restaurants.
As investigators continue searching for a motive, the fast-food chain says it is grieving alongside the victims’ families after the tragedy that unfolded Saturday afternoon.
In-N-Out President Mourns Employee Killed in Attack
In a message shared on social media, Snyder said she was devastated by the loss of one of the company’s employees.
She wrote that “We lost one of our beautiful Associates tonight,” describing the employee as someone who had been caring for customers when the gunman opened fire.
Snyder added that her “heart is broken” and said she had spent the evening grieving over the tragedy. According to her statement, the shooter fired both on and away from In-N-Out property before dying shortly after the attack.
She also expressed sympathy for the customers and employees who witnessed the violence, saying the company would stand beside everyone affected.
Three Dead and Seven Injured in Busy Shopping Plaza
Authorities said the shooting occurred at approximately 2 p.m. Saturday at an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, where the restaurant was busy with customers.
Officials confirmed that three people were killed, while seven others suffered injuries, several of them critically.
At the time of the latest update, authorities had not released the identities or ages of the victims as they continued notifying family members.
Multiple victims were transported to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center, where hospital staff worked alongside emergency responders during the crisis.
Police Continue Searching for a Motive
Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks described the scene as “very chaotic” and confirmed that investigators are still working to determine what led to the shooting.
Police located the suspected gunman dead near the restaurant, although officials initially said it was unclear whether the suspect was included in the reported death toll.
Authorities have also not released the suspect’s identity.
Investigators believe there is no ongoing threat to the community, but the case remains active as detectives gather evidence and interview witnesses.

The footage appeared to show a person dressed in black carrying a long rifle toward a white vehicle before opening the driver’s door and the trunk.
The individual recording the video drove away after fearing the suspect might be retrieving additional weapons.
