Seeing the Sunday performance of the musical “Cinderella” taught me a lot.
For starters, I learned how talented our school’s students are. They are great singers as well as actors. I loved how everyone in the play used special accents to get into character. It really displayed their talents.
I also really loved the great singing voices each character had, whether it was the Prince and Cinderella’s songs or the ensemble. Each person had a unique voice that sounded magnificent when they all sang together. It was great how everyone sounded so confident in front of such a large audience. I did not see anyone make a mistake, but if they did mess up, they found a way to improvise on the spot that again showed how talented everyone is.
Another quality I noticed was how everyone worked as a team. The performance would not have been a success unless they all practiced together to make it work. It was evident they had countless practices and rehearsals, showing that, as the Fairy Godmother says, anything is “possible.”
It was a beautiful production, and I enjoyed every moment of it. My friends and peers did very well, and I am proud of them and everyone else. It taught me how important teamwork was and how each person has exceptional talents. It was a great experience, and I most definitely will go again next year.
