Senior Celia Girsch has been an active and enthusiastic student since her freshman year.
Over the past four years, she has participated in tennis, French Club and environmental club. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, and she volunteers through Community Service.
Girsch has volunteered and been on missions throughout high school with her church, St. Francis Borgia. They have travelled to Texas, Montana and Georgia where they stay for a week to help the homeless, assist families in need and improve living conditions. Girsch said her experiences were “positive and productive.”
In her free time, Girsch enjoys coloring and baking. She is also a pet lover and loves to post pictures of her dog, Rocky, who is a cavachon.
Although Girsch said she is unsure as to what she will major in, she is interested in law and history and hopes to attend Marquette University. She has always loved history and wants to study something she is passionate about.
According to senior Lucy Rogers, Girsch is “one of the best people I know and is always there for me in my times of need.”
