Math teacher Kayla Beran teaches Geometry, Honors Geometry and Honors Algebra 2 with Trigonometry.
Beran graduated from UW-Madison with an undergraduate degree in math and earned her master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. This is her fifth year of teaching overall, as she previously taught at Homestead High School.
Beran graduated from here and is “excited to be part of it again.” Her passion for teaching started very young. She said, “I decided I wanted to start teaching in first grade and I never changed my mind.”
In her free time, Beran can be found coaching the girls’ JV volleyball team, playing with her dog Yogi or spending time outside.
