Juniors Regan Wagner and Olivia Kresnak competed at the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC), which was held in Anaheim, Calif. over spring break.
Wagner and Kresnak competed in the Buying and Merchandising Team Decision-Making Category.
Kresnak described her trip as “super fun.” She said, “We took a marketing cluster exam and participated in a role play based on a business scenario.” However, according to Kresnak, they did not place to move on to the next round.
Eleven students competed at the Regional DECA competition and qualified for State.

Junior Andrew Kurten: 3rd in Securities and Investment
Senior Adam Wilson: 3rd in Cyber Security
Since it was her first year of competition, Doman said she appreciated her partner’s help. She said Zimbelman helped “strengthen my presentation skills for future opportunities.”
