It’s not too late to join in the Second Annual CCSF Color Rush, which will be Thursday at Centennial Park.
Starting at 5:30 p.m., the event is a one-mile walk/run. Along the route, participants will encounter four stations, which will add a burst of non-toxic color as they run by.
The race will feature pre-race aerobics, led by the Art of Joy Social House & Mercantile, along with a stretch, partnering with Restore Spine and Wellness, a chiropractor in Thiensville.
In an effort to make the event more inclusive, starting this year, CCSF is partnering with Blossom IDD, a local non-profit organization which helps those with disabilities to get access to resources and opportunities they need to grow.
Best Buddies will provide further accommodations for those with disabilities as well.
The Hexhounds Robotics team will sell concessions after the race.
The Cedarburg Community Scholarship Fund gives away over $200,000 in scholarships each year to seniors in the community.
