Rehearsals will begin in December for “HONK! A Musical Tale of ‘The Ugly Duckling.’” Based on the fairy tale written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, the musical will be performed in the CPAC Feb. 15-18.
“At first, I was definitely confused by the story and didn’t know how I felt about it,” junior Izzy Heilgendorf said. “Once I read it and saw what we have planned, it seems like it’s going to be fun.”
Director Kristen Mickie said, “Don’t let the fact that you don’t know the musical deter you from seeing it. It’s a beautiful story with beautiful music.”
